A.W. Hill "Stephan Raszer is the thinking man's private eye" -- L.A. Weekly

The Last Days Of Madame Rey

The Last Days Of Madame Rey by

Synopsis:

The trade paperback release of A.W. Hill's second Stephan Raszer Investigation, originally published in hardcover by Carroll & Graf (2006). This edition has been revised and updated (although with alternative history, dates are always a speculative matter). In this outing, Raszer is hired to extricate a sexually conflicted young lawyer from the cult which has developed around a charismatic neo-Nazi leader and finds himself in an underworld realm with only a tarot reading as his guide. This is the most fantastical of the Raszer books and is an homage to the 19th century fantasy fiction of writers like Jules Verne and Edward Bulwer Lytton.
