"Orestes" in Writers' Bloc '88, UC Santa Barbara

Synopsis:
The very first writing of mine to appear between covers is an essay drawing parallels between the intrigue-filled world of Euripides's Orestes and the political and cultural concerns of the late 1980s. I hadn't reread this in years, and while it's definitely the work of a college freshman, I'm still proud that it was chosen. (And my parents were over the moon.)
