Influences

• My earliest influence in mystery writing was Agatha Christie, so I feel comfortable staying within the boundaries of that genre. Other writers are E.F.Benson for his sly humour, Evelyn Waugh for his biting satire, Barbara Pym for her observation of character and her gentle wit.
