The long break has given me time to pursue my photography hobby. I'm not a professional but I do try to work well on the camera. So far, I've only photographed some inanimate objects in my house. And, also, my sleeping cat.
These are only some of the photos I've taken in the span of three days. My acquired interest for high contrast in light and shadow, or "tenebrism" from the Baroque is one inspiration or peg for these photographs. For the photo of my cat, I used the pinhole effect which was said to have been used by the Dutch Baroque artist Johannes Vermeer.
The result was that my cat's white fur made him glow. Being an amateur, I don't really know why.
