Just a quickie: it’s a few days until the launch of Eastern Heathens: An Anthology of Subverted Asian Folklore, edited by Ng Yi-Sheng and Amanda Lee Koe, design and layout by Winnie Goh, and published by Ethos Books.
My work had the opportunity to be a part of the anthology and I am very, very excited. It’s my poetry that’s been published lately (also, a photograph suite at Cha: An Asian Literary Journal). Seeing a fiction piece by me in print is something that I’m looking forward to. Partly because I have no trust at all for my fiction writing skills and at the same time, knowing that the editors have chosen it must be an indication that I did something right (for once in my life).
This feels like adolescence all over again. Eastern Heathens, I am dying to meet you.
