My poor mom thought she had to poo, so the nurse settled her overburdened pregnant body on the toilet and what do you know...there I was having my first look at what I thought was vast ocean and an incredible echo that resonated around the world as I wailed forth my first cry.
When my small, newborn skull touched the cold water, I just knew I could expect a revelation of grand proportions.
Within the time it took me to blink my sleepy eyes, I was whisked from toilet bowl to birthing bed and experienced my first free-fall as I slithered and wiggled my way out of the warmest body hug I would ever feel.
After that, I was grateful that my mother was in full control of my life until I had the courage to investigate real oceans and my resounding voice again.
