Wayne Carringer (born October 24, 1963 in Pittsburgh) is an American writer, essayist, historian, musician, songwriter, and multimedia artist.
Wayne started writing historical and fictional short stories based on stories from geneology research. After taking a Writing for Media class at Robert Morris University, Wayne started writing scripts and found his songwriting and conversational style lent itself to creating plays and movie scripts. Wayne continues to perform, write and arrange music and DJs in the Pittsburgh area.
Wayne's diverse employment background has included working in the engineering, publishing, computer techonology and music industries. Presently, Wayne works as a marketing communications professional for an international materials supplier. He graduated summa cum laude from Point Park University in 2007 with a bachelor of science in marketing communications. Wayne earned an associate in applied science, liberal arts from Robert Morris University in 2001.
