On or around Halloween, now when was that? No, let's start again. On or around Halloween, Oct. 31st, just in case you're as mixed up as I am, I saw my first Santa. There he was jolly, red, "Ho, Ho, Ho," all 6' 1" of him. He had candy that he was passing out; so it was Halloween and I hadn't missed that other holiday afterall. It was all a mistake!
Well, I managed to stay out of the stores until my friend and I left for AZ, as we do every winter around the 1st of Nov. No more Santas for me, just in case they were still around. Then she says, "It's time to write our Christmas poem." So I couldn't escape it and on Nov. 5th I wrote:
Twinkling reindeer bells Speaking joyfully of friends Like window shopping We shall be happy to send Bright Christmas wishes to you. -daw
So is it Christmas or isn't it? Maybe the turkey will know because I certainly don't!
