Day 1: We arrive at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport and transfer to a domestic flight to Osaka. Our tour leader will be waiting in the lobby of Itami Airport. We proceed directly to our hotel, the Maruyama Koen, conveniently located near Kyoto’s transportation and sights.

I really enjoyed “Getting Oriented.” Wally Wood writes well and keeps the reader engaged on this tour through ‘Japan Old and New.’ He weaves a good story and is able to bring all of the characters to life in a short amount of time and in a strange setting. I felt like I knew them all well by the end of the book.”
