My first blog in a while so bear with me.  I have heard the song by Janice Joplin that says "Freedoms just another word for nothing left to loose" that is so not true.  I am a prior military man who, while I never saw combat and cannot imagine what it would be like, knows that freedom is not free.  For many of the soldiers who fight for our freedom even today in Afghanistan and Iraq freedom is to lose their lives so that we can be free.  I know that some people think that the war over there has nothing to do wiht our freedom and maybe that is true of Iraq, but not Afghanistan.  Iraq is about freedom for the Iraqi people though and maybe an ally in the future which is always needed.  Afghanistan is about our freedom.  Freedom from terrorism.  This battle is not just for us but for the world.  I ask any who read this whether you sup[port the war or not to SUPPORT THE TROOPS WHO ARE SACRAFICING FOR US.  I pray to God that he keep our troops safe and bring an end to that war over there.
