where the writers are
faith

I have been thinking on what is known as the lords prayer and recently realized some things about how I feel about it.  First it is not really the lords prayer but more of a believers prayer though I can see how it could be called such since it was Lord Jesus Christ who gave it to us.  Here is the prayer with my thoughts:  Our Father Who art in heaven obviously refers to God and is a start of a conversation with him.  Hallowed be thy name is a reference to the holiness of God.  Thy kingdom come is something that I really look forward to happening for it is the only time thy will be done on this Earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread though we do not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the Lords mouth, and forgive us our trespasses (or sins) which I really need as we forgive those who tresspass against us which means if we want forgiveness we MUST forgive others and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil made me realize how often we ask for the strength to face temptation but as another book called the Jabez prayer says we should seek to avoid temptation and this does that.  The Catholic church ends there but just as important is for thine is the kingdom power and glory forever acknowledges that God IS lord and sovreign over the world
