**There was a time when the Sun and the Moon were lovers.
Their passion was so great the heat of the Sun scorched the Earth
and the tears of the Moon drowned the Earth.
In order for the Earth to survive an arrangement had to be made
for them to share the sky apart from one another.
For this reason the Sun now lives in the daytime sky, the Moon in
the night time.
Only the shadows of the Sun and the Moon are allowed to touch
when, during an Eclipse, they pass one another.
