I've been thinking about the best way to answer a newlywed friend's question,
"What does it take to make a happy marriage."
Finally after two years of serous thought I think I have a pretty good answer,
although highly theoretical, I suggest the following.
1. Mutual respect
2. Ability to work on budget together
and two more could be added
3. Financial stability (in case #2 isn't always reliable.)
4. Appropriate parea (group of friends) for children upon reaching the age of 9 years old until they die.)
In particular the first two should get you through the tricky first seven years.
After those first seven years perhaps fate does have a lot of influence so prayers may be helpful.
