Vicki Nikolaidis's Biography
Member Info
I grew up in a farm in Iowa. In the summer I would lay in the green grass looking at the sky and daydream about the people in the jets that passed overhead. I traveled about the U.S. in my old beat up car, managed to get a couple of degrees in science and engineering, got married to a Greek fellow, birthed two lovely daughters who are now in college. . .and convinced my husband we should live on Crete.
Here in Crete I took a Creativity Workshop by Shelley Berc and Alejandro Fogel. (www.creativityworkshop.com) The workshop freed me to write. What a wonderful miracle! So far I've started a lot of things with great promise, probably close to a thousand pages altogether, but need to finish these projects! I've got lots of ideas! Polishing up my work to create finished products is what I'm trying to learn to do now!

Interests & Hobbies
I read anything and everything. I design and sew clothing. I create three dimensional fabric pieces. I am a media activist and a political junkie. I follow both Greek and USA politics. And I love to write. I keep paper and pens in every room, the car and my purses so I can write when the spirit moves me. Then when I have a chance I organize all the paper with my notes, it's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle! Also I'm a political activist for justice. I do what I can to improve the enviroment. I really want fresh air, fresh water and good farmland in every single place that is inhabited in this world.
