For a different sort of launch party for Gold Fever, the second in the Klondike Mystery series, I hosted an afternoon tea.  It was a great event, helped by an early spring afternoon that was exceptionally warm so people enjoyed sitting outside as well as inside the restaurant.  I've posted some pictures at my personal blog: One Woman Crime Wave (http://klondikeandtrafalgar.blogspot.com)
