I'm a semi-established writer -- which is to say my writing has appeared in top newspapers and magazines, My plays and musicals have been produced and one of my plays was adapted for a GM Mark of Excellence TV presentation. My short stories were a regular feature in the Miami Herald Sunday magazine when I was down there. My light verse was a regular feature in the NY Times for a number of years (Larry van Gelder and Glenn Collins, editors). I have a couple of novels out now, published through Amazon's CreateSpace and Kindle divisions. Btw, semi-established means anything but financially secure. (These days I actually make more money playing music than writing.)
My real name is Steve DiLauro but for the last 10 years I have written exclusively under Uke Jackson and that's what everyone, even my aging Mom, calls me.
