In the last few hours more trgedies happened at the boundaries of Fortress Europe. A 21 years old Iraqi boy died under a track where he was hiding in Ancona, reproducing once more a tragedy that I had described on this blog a few months ago with an Afghani boy. More than a hundred perhaps as many as three hundred desperate immigrants died in the Mediterranean trying to reach Sicily from Lybia. When is this going to be over?
When this desperate people succeed in their dream what are they going to find? I reproduce here a letter and some pictures from a Malian student of mine at the IUC that I have received this morning.
on the link below you can find some pictures of at least a hundred of immigrants waiting for chance to enter into UK from Paris. The reason why I'm interested in that is that it remembers me the situation in Ceuta and Melilla 2005 till now, but that is happening in Europe …. I'm traveling to Paris next sunday and will go to Calais so as to know more about this scandalous situation in Europe…
