I'm Just 1026 Words From My Goal!

Well, as you might have guessed, I got un-stuck. My characters had a few more conflicts, a love scene, and now we're down to the nitty gritty climax with only a little over a thousand words to go. I think it's safe to say I'm going to go over. I was so afraid I'd never make the 50,000! Now, I'm actually wondering how far over I'm actually going to go. Right now, the hero is locked in battle with the last surviving primary villian, but he's had to make a huge sacrifice. Once this conflict is resolved, we have police, girlfriends and medical problems to deal with. Oh, and there are supporting characters also fighting for their lives with lesser villians.
