This lithe collaboration produced by two Mill Valley men is buoyantly inventive and wondrously whimsical. Mr. Fooster goes out for a stroll one day and soon finds himself enchanted by a miraculous universe filled with magical possibilities, including blowing a bubble that can turn into a DeSoto. Corwin's elegantly fashioned prose and Frazier's lightly burnished panels are fond reminders of just how liberating life can be when we unshackle the chains from our creative minds. Grade: A-
