Children’s book author, blogger, award winning multi-media artist and all around Renaissance woman Tina Nichols Coury grew up in Los Angeles.  She is the youngest of four children to a single saint of a mom.  Attending 12 years of parochial school, Tina found drawing a sure way to get out of homework, impress the nuns and make a few bucks sketching on book covers or desks. Her first picture book, Hanging Off Jefferson’s Nose: Growing up on Mount Rushmore is scheduled for release by Dial Books for Young Readers, May 2012.
