Detective Molly Beck is hot on the trail of a Succubus Serial killer who is terrorizing Sedona, Arizona and leaving a trail of dead human men--or at least part of them. So she's pissed when her captain pairs her with a human partner who has a prejudice against anything supernatural.
After punching his last boss in the mouth, Detective Mitch Guthrie is transferred to what he considers the worst position available for a cop-the SPOOK Squad (Special Paranormal Operations & Otherworldly Contact.) Now he's neck deep in every supernatural beastie he can imagine-his worst nightmare since his father was killed by one. But his new partner, a kick-butt succubus who is also smart, determined and beautiful, is beginning to make him rethink his past prejudices.
Can these two put aside their differences long enough to solve the case, and to possibly see more in each other than they first thought?

Mitch and Molly are paired together as partners in the SPOOK squad. Of course neither of them thinks they need a partner. Their current case gives Mitch a crash course on succubi whether he wants it or not and he begins to think there is more to the partnership than he first gave credit. When both Mitch and Molly keep finding traces of their boss at each crime scene, things begin to look even worse.
As Mitch and Molly get closer (you'll have to read the book to find out how close) and their case keeps piling up victims - or rather parts of victims - things get interesting and Mitch is introduced to the Vortex, not the club that everyone knows but what is hidden underneath.
So grab a tall cold one and snuggle in for a good read with this book.
The action, drama and hot scenes just about set the pages ablaze as Mitch and Molly fight their attraction and put themselves out there trying to find and stop a paranormal killer. Tina Gerow's characters are well developed and you are drawn in to their tale from the start. Vortex Blues is a page-turner you will not want to miss out on.

Tina Gerow's new book, VORTEX BLUES, brings to life two riveting characters...readers can't help but cheer them on! Like boiling water, it soon heats up and leaves no prisoners. What I enjoyed most was the build up of these two flawed characters who discover more and more about each other and the trust that slowly develops between Mitch and Molly. In closing, Tina Gerow, I have only three words for you. I want more!

Filled with supernatural creatures galore, Vortex Blues was a fast paced paranormal mystery. There were plenty of suspenseful and humorous moments to keep the plot rolling along. The mystery was well written and I enjoyed the byplay between the other characters. The paranormal world built by Ms. Gerow was well thought out and planned and seems like an intriguing place to visit.
