Anything with good writing and great storyline, a few are: The Illiad, anything by Dean Koontz or Michael Connelly, One shot-One Kill (a history of snipers), Iron Cavalry, Way of a Fighter, Chronicles of Narnia, Out of the Silent Planet, Dante's Divine Comedy, That Hideous Strength, Hunt for Red October, and any book on Metaphysics and paganism to name but a few.
What I'm Reading
Currently I am reading, Dante's Divine Comedy again. It is a fascinating tale, originally written in Italian, which describes the protagonist's descent through the various levels of Hell.
