Thomas White's Biography

I have led a varied and interesting professional life to this point. For the past 19 years I have worked as a Senior Event Producer for many of the top companies in the country. Prior to that I have worked as a theatrical director, voice over performer, ADR Supervisor for TV and Films, actor, stage manager, video producer/director and a writer. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Actor’s Equity Association and AFTRA. I hold a BFA in Directing from United States International University/School of Performing Arts.

I began my career as a theatrical director. For fifteen years I worked in Los Angeles and New York directing stage musicals and plays. My three biggest credits are a national tour of Grease, a Broadway show entitled, Strides, and the world tour of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Coming Out Of Our Shells. These skills that I developed in the legit theatre have translated very well to corporate event production. When I was in school the dean of my college took me aside and offered this advise, “Learn everything you can about the theatre. Learn lights, sound, costumes, set construction, because when you are out of work you can always get a job backstage. If you are in the theatre when an opportunity comes up to advance, you will be there instead of waiting tables.” I heeded that advice and consequently I have a vast amount of knowledge relating to all elements of event production.

I am now moving form entertaining people on stage to entertaining my readers.  I have completed two novels, The Siren's Song, a story of a haunted house and the mysterious inhabitant of the pool and Justice Rules, a crime drama centered around victim support groups and the lengths to which one would be willing to go to seek justice.
