Remembering Allen Ginsberg
I interviewed Allen Ginsberg on two occasions. My second interview, from 1991 on the subject of photography, has been republished in two books, "Spontaneous Mind: Selected Interviews, 1958-1996" (HarperCollins, 2001) and "Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg" (Prestel / National Gallery of Art, 2010). I had the honor of having hosted Allen Ginsberg's last ever reading in 1996. Here, in 2008, I introduce Bill Morgan, acclaimed Allen Ginsberg biographer and renowned Beat scholar and author.
