Thomas Fahy's Biography

Thomas Fahy studied literature and music at the University of California at Davis, and he received a Ph.D. in literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published ten books and currently lives in New York, where he is a professor of literature and Director of the American Studies Program at Long Island University, C. W. Post Campus.

I am influenced and inspired by the writings of Susann Cokal, Jeanette Winterson, J. M. Coetzee, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sherman Alexie, Elizabeth McCracken, Nicole Krauss, Truman Capote, Carson McCullers, Willa Cather, William Faulkner, and many, many others.
Upcoming Works
SLEEPLESS, my next young adult horror/thriller novel, will be released in the summer of 2009 with Simon & Schuster. It's about a group of students in a secret society that try to figure out who or what is responsible for an epidemic of sleepwalking that is causing teens in a small town to kill each other.
