Influences
The major influences in my life were my grandparents. I had a difficult relationship with my parents and my paternal grandmother was always there to comfort me and believe in me. My maternal grandfather stoked my intellectual curiosity and my love of reading.
My motivation for writing depends upon the subject. I love the challenge of communicating my thoughts, convictions, and humor through the written word. Conversations become vapor, thoughts come and go, but the written word is FOREVER.
