Isn't the ocelot cute? Jaguars and ocelots share the same territory--but not really. Okay, they live in the same general area, but jaguars will not permit the smaller wild cat to live in ITS territory. Why not? Ocelots feed off smaller prey, so they're not competing for the same food source.
But that's just the way of things. Jaguars are BIG cats and territorial and they rule--between little cats and big cats.
They are king of the South American jungle, if you eliminate man.
So that's my momentary slip into the jungle (zoo style), before I'm back to writing about the hotter kind of jaguars--in the sense of jaguar shifters--in Jaguar Heat.
6,000 words written, 84,000 to go. :)
If I write 10,000 words, I'll have all the books done on time. If...my muse doesn't act up!
Do you set goals?
Have a super Thursday!!!
