This just in from Long and Short Reviews!~~Just a note, the book is available in print only...and preorders are coming in already! One fan said she just received a call from her local book store that hers was in!
"Hunter is also an alpha and you know what alphas are like. The dynamic of a man bent on protecting those he deems under his care clashing with a fiery red-headed human virago who is stubborn and inquisitive, promises you a very entertaining read.
The secondary characters, like Meara, Hunter’s sister; or Devlyn, the missing link, are only a couple of the varied cast that adds flavor and meat to the plot. There are bad guys that you expect and some you don’t. It was that dual level of badness that kept the suspense spiked and interesting. Ms. Spear also does a wonderful job of creating Hunter’s shifter society and how different communities interact with each other, from politics to courtship. It was like surfing an online candy shop. You think to pick your favorites but soon realize there is so much more to offer, you need and want to investigate the other confections; you’ll be back.
To Tempt the Wolf is perfect reading for those who love to mix their romances with paranormal adventure, suspenseful intrigue and a couple who know how to heat the sheets and our hearts."

Keeping the Same Old Stories Fresh
My blog will be posted in the morning!
Tonight, I'll be at FF&P for a chat on their August program, entitled: Dog Days of Summer, for werewolf month! :)
Next week, I'll be at more places! I think last year was the first time I'd heard of virtual book tours. They're fun--no dressing up for the occasion. Can check in anytime. You have time to think of a brilliant response. Nothing spur of the moment. Except that your words are out there forever. :)
They're fun. I know, I said that already. I'm not like the Best Selling Author who everyone has heard of. So trying to get the word out that I even have a series coming out is important. Sometimes I feel that everyone should already know about them--which is because most of the people I know on my loops do know about them.
But when I visit new blogs, or old ones where new people are visiting, or even the loops I'm on where new people have joined, I realize just how many have not even tried an urban fantasy, or paranormal book, let alone...heaven's forbid, a werewolf story. :)
As an eclectic reader, I read lots of different things. I think of Splash and other mermaid/mermen stories I've read when I think of Judi's books. And the myriad of fun sci-fi romances I've read when I immerse myself in Cheryl's books. And Bewitched, Stardust, and heck, can't think of all the great movies I've seen with witches as the main characters, Hocus Pocus, but also...the one where the women are witches and are trying to kill off a very bad warlock? Anyway, I think of Linda's great reads. So, yep, I read about everything...
But I forget that not everyone does take a chance at something a little different.
And hopefully with virtual book tours, the word will spread. Try them, you'll like them! Or at least you'll get your taste of something a little different!
If you have a chance, drop by and comment. And you never know, you might win a free book or three! :)
