Halloween is for Spiderwebs and Spooky Mist! by Terry Spear

Yes, the question is: Where is the spider who made this huge web???

Isn't it just perfect for Halloween? As long as it's outside and I'm not about to walk through it, yes!

Why does the yard look so blurred beyond? It's not the camera, or the photographer or Photoshop, but we had a spectacularly ghoulish mist blanketing the whole area. Perfect for a Halloween day/night. Only it's too early!!!

I'm here today, and truly, on a day that looked like this??? Staying under the covers really is a great place to be!

See the troll dressed as a black kitty cat and carrying her own jack-o-lantern trick-or-treating bag to the right in front of the wizard bear? I got it for my daughter years ago because of her red hair and she was a black kitty cat one year! But guess who kept it???  The wizard bear I created. And my parents made the two little wooden jack-o-lanterns!

Have a spooktacular day!

Ready For Halloween

I love this post!  The spider web is beautiful!  They are truly miracles, so intricate and breathtakingly created!  The blurry background alluding to misty, autumns days is delightfully spooky and lends itself to a lovely, haunting Halloween feeling!  Halloween is one of my favorite times of year, and although it is not the same here in FL, I certainly enjoyed a moment vicariously through your post!  Thank you! :)

Thanks, AJ!

Thanks so much, AJ! We don't often have fog or it's way off in the distance, or not this thick--and definitely not surrounding the house in such a spooky way, so when I went out to get the mail, I was like--camera!!!

Of course the spiderweb clinging to the gate made it even more perfect!

I lived in Florida for years, so know just what you mean about not having the fall-like feel!! It's the same thing with Christmas. We ended up getting an aluminum tree with the colorful light that shined on it because Florida just didn't feel like a Christmas tree kind of place!

Thanks for commenting! And I'm glad you enjoyed the fog and spiderweb!
