Isn't that the way the song goes? I'm not trying to be politically incorrect here, but the song was just playing as I settled down with a hot cup of green tea at my computer to get back to work after a day of Christmas shopping, but I'm ready to settle down for a long winter's nap.
But no! I've got final edits to go through for Deadly Liaisons due out in March and they're due tomorrow. Plus the Casa Babes, otherwise known as the Casablanca authors, will be starting a new serial story. And I'm starting the story again for the first of the year. So have to come up something we all can write. So onward and upward.
My mother got a call from a friend who was sick very early this morning and asked if I wanted to go on an all day excursion making holiday mischief. Uhm, no. Not that if I didn't have so much on my Christmas cookie plate now, that has nothing to do with cookies, I'd have loved to.
Instead, as the delightful London Symphony Orchestra is serenading me with Noel, Noel, I'm off to delve into the vampire world (and no, this does not help my muse, but it does keep reminding me I have to wrap Christmas presents before everyone comes home), and then it's back to the werewolf world, which is set at Christmastime, and for first time I can write when it IS cold, and IS Christamasy. :) So then the music will work. :)
Have to move water again...WHO said that this was the best time of year to plant? He needs to pay my water bill!!!
:) Happy Holidays! Terry
