Born and raised in Pasadena with a childhood that included summers spent in Michigan and frozen in time. Much of Terry's early years were spent trying to decode what was really going on. Abandoning that effort, she chose to make up reality instead. Books were a cheap and barrier-free escape from an otherwise tedious existence. Somewhere out there, something was happening. By the time she got hip to the sixties, it was the seventies. Imagine the disappointment. College came and went. The eighties were a roller coaster. Returned to her earlier passion for writing in 1990, resulting in a far superior decade. The naughts are promising. She lives in San Francisco with her painter husband, her two children, and two cats who fight.
