These poems tell the story of a my past. A Time when I endured physically abused and mentally tormented by the hands of mistake. In my words, I shared the emotional roller coaster of insanity and solitude; from contemplating suicide to drug addiction. Somewhere between heaven and hell I once lay undecided not knowing if death or life would be my savior. The poem “Black wings” displays the acronyms to the REVELATION OF LIFE. And, “Blood of hate, In the category of all, and Hate, reveal the shameful truth of my spirit scorned who has reached its end. Because my life was so dark at times, I am able to relate to the shame, heartache, bitterness and hate that other women have felt. Now Only a scar remains to remind me of how well I’ve healed.
