Sylvia Lafair's Biography
Member Info
Always loved writing. Yet I put it aside to raise a family and become a family therapist. Morphed into a business/leadership consultant when I realized we all, at least most of us, work and there is a lack of deep creative use of language in the day to day "let's get it done" business world. I saw my knack for storytelling, my love of myth, and my therapeutic background were a unique blend in quantitiative work settings. I finally had the material Ineeded for writing my book and found that time disappeared as I sat and crafted the amazing adventures possible when work colleagues began to tell each other the truth. It has been a delight to see what can happen in an organization when there is a shift into human universals that underline "we are all in it together and no one wins unless we all do".
