Suzanne Morris's Biography

Children's writer and book reviewer.  I was a social worker who worked with lots of different children.  Writing for them seems a natural extension.  I have always loved to write, so, since I have retired early, why not use my unspent energy in that direction.  

I began reviewing books because of my mentor's admonision to read what I want to write.  I was reading much and posting reviews on other sites.  I decided one day that it was silly not to have my own review site.  I do not make any money from the two blogs, though the idea of doing so does not bother me.  It just has not happened.  

I joined Red Room out of a request.  I reviewed Sherrill S. Cannon's three books, the last being Santa's Birthday Gift.  I asked if there were any sites she'd like me to post the review and Red Room was her reply.  Well, I cannot do that if I am not a member, so here I am.  Besides, I like finding and joining really great, active writing and author sites.  They are wonderful places to learn the craft.
