TODAY IS WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT HIM FRIDAY

      This expression is clearly asking one to define what they assert they have identified with. I am obliged to present this expression in the contents of “God” asking his creation WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT HIM? Wonderfully as God is granting me this blog as I was “wining” to him about the many trials that I’ve had to endure. In all sincerity I went on and on with these very words “GOD WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT ME?” As you may know when you ask God a question about other folk, more times than none he’ll in return ask you a question about yourself or Him. He directly asked my spirit “WHAT DID I KNOW ABOUT HIM?” He then said to me the same thing he said to Job “You don’t know what you are talking about.” (Job 38:2). The scripture goes on to ask “Where were you when I laid the earths foundation? Tell me if you know.” (Job 38:4). These scriptures are in reference to Job when he was complaining about all the many evils that had came upon him within twenty-four hours.

     I believe "Job:38" to be profound in aligning with this blog, considering it clearly informs every one of us that we really don’t know what were talking about when it comes to God or folk. I mean really Job didn’t KNOW ABOUT HIM (God), nor did he know about himself, because if he did he would’ve known that it’s impossible for God to commit evil to that which he loves. As the story goes, all of the evils that Job was experiencing derived straight from a jealous entity (Satan) whom wanted to destroy Job, all because God knew all about Jobs heart toward Him. Please understand, it is very important to the enemy (Satan) that we know as less about God as possible. That is one of the very reasons he wants us to blame God, and others for the evils that occur in this life. Evidently Satan really doesn’t KNOW ABOUT HIM (God), because if he did he wouldn’t have caused all of those horrors that in turn immersed Job into much greatness.

     Even though I’ve read the book of Job numerous times, last night reading was totally different. For the first time I saw an entire optic view of Gods children being a fraction of every scene of horror in Jobs life, as well as the victory that is imminent when we KNOW ABOUT HIM (GOD). Who’ll deny Job was the epitome of suffering, blame, accusation, gossip, and lies, and through it all he still yet had to trust, rely, and learn all ABOUT HIM (GOD). “I know that you can do anything. No one can keep you from doing what you plan to do. You asked me, ‘Who do you think you are to disagree with my plans? You do not know what you are talking about.’ I spoke about things I didn’t completely understand. I talked about things that were too wonderful for me to know.” (Job 42:1-3). As the story goes Jobs former was greater than his past.

     My friends, God is still asking his children some of those very same questions he asked Job “WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT ME?” I believe if our trials are tempting our faith to waiver with question about Gods supremacy than sadly we really don’t KNOW ABOUT HIM. Be reminded, God has granted us access to his throne through his only son Jesus Christ. He has diligently prepared us for the life that we would live when we claim allegiance to Him. He has granted us privileges beyond measures to freely come and lay before him with every trial/tribulations that we endure. He has given us spiritually arsenal, such as his spoken word (Bible). He has gifted us with the greatest physical sphere of influence the church, believers, and the five fold ministries.  Obviously it’s not the enemy (Satan) or his many evils that are keeping us hopelesss; it’s our own ignorance/foolishness that is hindering us from KNOWING ABOUT HIM (GOD). I’ll be the first to admit for the last several weeks my faith has been shaken, however I do know and I rest comfortably in the fact that God has always kept me safe from my enemies.“You have always kept me safe from my enemies. You are like a strong tower to me.” (Psalm 61:3). I  

     My question to the mass is WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT HIM? By all means allow me to yet again brag about our God. He spoke into existence the very earth that cleaves to our physical being. He looks down from his heaven, and controls everything from one location. He can be anyone or anything at any given time. He can part a river with the stream never touching the dry ground. He can open up the earth and swallow the very creatures that he created. He can resurrect the dead! He can speak from the mouth of a donkey to get his point across.

     Let’s take today and declare WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HIM! “Call out to me. I will answer you. I will tell you great things you do not know. You will not be able to understand them.” (Jeremiah 33:3 NIRV).
