TODAY IS PLEASE ENCOURAGHE ME MONDAY.....

Today is (PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME MONDAY?)

This question is broad-based; imploring assistance through the many passages of life. Who’ll deny our life is always being molded by the circumstance that we encounter daily. A horrendous tragedy occurred in my sons life (5) five months ago which shook the core of his being, as well as our family and many others. I shall never forget the look in my child eyes “PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME” as he slowly walked up our stairs roaring wails from his mouth “Susie, they this, that and the other.” He exclaimed! While crying profusely, he cried so much that it weakens his very physical being. I could feel his pain internal, as well as external pleading for unspoken ENCOURAGEMENT as he laid his muddled head onto my shoulders, and placed his fragile body weigh upon me “Gods strength” as we slowly walked up the rest of the stairs into his room.

Astonishingly as our God is, and impossible to be ill prepared,  He’d already equipped strong- spiritual vessels of ENCOURAGEMENT to take on the sorrows, tears, and grief immersed with repeated questions “why God, why?” Mystifyingly everyone that was chosen for this passage intuitively knew the assignment, particularly when PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME silently or vocally appeared in the presence or the thought of one’s mind.

As I’m writing this blog, I can vividly see me walking my son up our stairs, my mother waiting with tears of sorrow flowing from her eyes, while looking upon her grandson with silent words of "I ENCOURAGE you." Surely this hadn’t ever taken place on our top floor. There was nothing I could do, or say to remove the pain, anger, mixed emotions, and question of why’s. My son wasn’t my son per-say, he was a son of God that needed God to show up in a physical form to meet a need that was pleading, and begging PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME. My friend’s this was a scene awaiting a script to be written. I’m almost sure any audience would have wailed with pleads PLEASE ENCOURANGE him. Nevertheless this wasn’t a movie; this was a factual event that occurred when the passage of life invited itself to encroach upon the innocence of what seemed to be going to and fro in the wee-hour of the morning.

We need be very careful when folk plead PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME, because the enemy (Satan) can swoop in, and undermine well-meaning intentions by asking one zillion questions. Really, if we’re going to be that bright light of ENCOURAGMENT, be reminded were supposed to be turning the lights brighter, not dimming them through prying. Please understand my son and his friends, and their beloved friend didn’t invite this tragedy to dim their lights, and turn off a light “regardless of what folk say.” And surely they didn’t need me or anyone else asking them a zillion questions whilst their broken soul pleaded PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME.  I know many may say “Ms. Susie, sometimes you just want to know what happened so you’ll be able to set the record straight, especially when folk say otherwise.” My friends, I don’t judge you for wanting to defend the hatred in which the enemy (Satan) employs others to feast upon, but we must be very mindful at the fragility of all that is pleading PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME. I can tell you first hand, if we learn to be sensitive first to the spirit of God, we’ll learn to be sensitive to the very needs of others. Real talk…

It is important for you to understand that not only did we have to be a constant ENCOURAGEMENT for my son; we had to ENCOURAGE his girlfriend, and his other friends. And the day was quickly approaching in which we would need to encourage the immediate family of my sons’ friend. As I spoke with the Lord, and asked for his guidance on how to convey ENCOURAGMENT to the family. Finally I knew exactly what I should do to PLEASE ENCOURAGE them. I prayed for salvation for the lost souls, memories to bring about peace, strength to be renewed, and faith to be regenerated.

As we were on our way to visit the family this scripture emerged within me “We are in this struggle together.” (Philippians 1:30). As well as this old adage “We are our brothers and sisters keepers.” Truly his mother was my sister, and his father was my brother, and his sister was my daughter. Sadly, they were now experiencing firsthand the struggles that our other sisters, brothers, and daughters all over the world had already experienced. And I was in the midst as everyone else was to ENCOURAGE rather it be a spoken words or silent presence.

Isn’t this the very nature of God when tragedy occurs he has already prepared strong safe havens to ENCOURAGE us through our darkest passages? Who can deny that death is the most hideous crime upon Gods creation, however it’s not the end. It just a temporary passage in which we all must take. Matter of fact it doesn’t even hurt our spirits that are hidden inside of this physical body. “Death, where is the battle you thought you were winning? Death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:55).

Did you know that when you ENCOURAGE folk you are dual operating (2) two fruits of spirit, which is the spirits of kindness and gentleness. “But the fruit of the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy, and peace. It is being patient, kind, and good. It is being faithful and gentle and having control of oneself. There is no law against things of that kind.” (Galatians 5:22-23). How awesome is that. (SLH).
