TODAY IS MIX-IT UP MONDAY
This expression means a variety has been applied to life or will be applied. Lately I’ve been experiencing the MIX-T UP of good, and evil. I could write paragraph after paragraph about the MIX-IT UP of many evils, however I’ve learned that too much writing about evil in the same paragraph of good has the potential to deter readers.
Mysterious as God is, he’s also very precise in how He nourishes us with information, always granting us with His MIX-IT UP of, grace, mercy, and blessing to assist us with the many MIX-IT UP of evils that arrive in our lives. For that reason alone none will falsely accuse God of not blessing us with a MIX IT-UP of good to bring us from the MIX-IT UP of evil.
Please understand, the MIX-IT UP of evil will arrive in our life; however God will always bring about a MIX-IT UP of good to sustain us. “He comforts us in all our troubles. Now we can comfort others when they are in trouble. We ourselves have received comfort from God. We share the sufferings of Christ. We also share his comfort.” ( 2 Corinthians 1:4-5).
Did you know that God often times pleads with us with repeated life lessons to accept the MIX-IT UP love, peace, and joy that are entailed with good, all in order for us to receive the MIX-IT UP of blessings that are waiting?
I experienced MIX-IT UP in such a grand way this past-weekend. I was a bit under the weather; however through it all I was able to spend a vast amount of time focused on God. He spoke profound MIX-IT UP of words to my soul, that strengthen me to pray, read scriptures, inspirational material, watch inspirational movies, and talk with my granddaughter in-depth about God. I then cried (literally) out with prayer for all those that are experiencing the MIX-IT UP of sorrow, pain, turmoil, and injustice. "I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of. Those who look to him beam with joy. They are never put to shame." (Psalm 34:4-5).
Right afterwards I taken notice of how much of the MIX-IT UP of good arrives when we take our minds off of the MIX-IT UP of evil. “I destroy every claim and every reason that keeps people from knowing God. I keep every thought under control in order to make it obey Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5). I mean really, if we take authority over what it looks like, feels like, and the thought life; the MIX-IT UP of evil wouldn’t be able to deny the MIX-IT UP of good (God) that is readily available.
I believe God allows the MIX-IT UP so we don’t become comfortable in the things of this world. Therefore when the MIX-IT UP of evil has entered our path, we don't become comfortable, we make it become uncomfortable by speaking the MIX-IT UP of praise, worship, volunteering, encouragement, etc. “What should we say then? Since God is on our side, who can be against us?” (Romans- 8:31).
