This expression is clearly implying unhappiness, unfulfillment at ones EMPLOYMENT. Sadly this is the tragedy of many. I remember being in this state of existence. I was (4) four months pregnant with my son, and I was MISERY EMPLOYED. I was so MISERABLE within myself that I went to work, and left for lunch and never returned. A couple days went by, and I thought “what in the world was I thinking about.” All in all my EMPLOYMENT was gravy per-say. The shift was awesome for my other children. I worked right next to my bff, the benefits were great. I had no idea at the time the enemy (Satan) was subtly activating my emotions to deter me from the destiny God had in store for me.

Allow me to say this, EMPLOYMENT can't make you happy, for happiness is a temporary state of existence being dictated by tangible experiences. What your EMPLOYMENT can do is enhance your knowledge, enhance your abilities, and enhance your lifestyle. Anything other is your ego (flesh)-enemy (Satan) EMPLOYING you into MISERY. I can testify to it!

For years I was being ignorantly engaged through my ego (flesh) with MISERY EMPLOYED. I was just as that scripture said “I was being tossed to and fro.” Strangely after I walked off that job someone I knew given me another job, and I complained to her about the smell, the hours, the distance, and the MISERY of complaints was so long that she recommended I quit. As I reflect on those days, I now know God wanted to build perseverance and patience within me, but every time He tried my ego (flesh) enthralled with the enemy rejected his wisdom. Lets not forget the spirit of God isn't a intruder, if we allow our flesh to dominate we tie Gods hands so to speak.

We need to remember that our attitude concerning our EMPLOYMENT reflects whats going on internally. Friends, even though all of this happened (20) twenty something years ago, I can definitely illustrate what was going on in my life at those time. First of all my physical life was a mess, and my spiritual life was a yo-yoo of highs and lows according to what was transpiring at the time. I was MISERY EMPLOYED. And everywhere I went, and all those I encountered knew about it. I know many will declare, what I used to declare “Its the people, the job, the money, etc.” Listen who can deny that EMPLOMENT has some issues 'its life” however we still dictate the outcome with our attitude. If your looking for your job to make you happy, make you sane, make you popular etc. Surely it can temporary fulfill those illusion, but eventually you'll create more illusions. Please understand its you, you, you, you, you. Lets pause for a moment! Now shake those hurling insulting emotions to the floor, step on them with humility and admit it “its not the EMPLOYMENT” that's making you MISERY its you, you, you. My friends don't take this personal, be disillusion today only God can assist us in these areas, and unfortunately we tie his hands, because you walk in pride, arrogance, and a haughty heart. And who do you suppose is assisting us? Think about that one...

I am so glad that God is assisting me to assist you with these blogs, for my heart is overjoyed that I can share with you my own trials, and many tribulations that have brought me to this point. Please be reminded, I don't tell you all to do anything that I haven't done. I'm compelled to share my life with you in hopes you'll understand that we have the innate authority of Jesus Christ to shift the very places that EMPLOY us.

Do you want to put MISERY in the pit in which it came from? Try praising God before you go to work, try praising him while your at work. When something arrives to try and deter your praise, by all means take a break go into the bathroom stall place some tissue in your mouth, scream and praise. If so happens you need to go to your car to praise, by all means do so. Praising in the midst of MISERY is your only powerful key to deactivate all MISERY, even the MISERY of others. “Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my disease . He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's! The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. “ ( Psalm 103:1-6). I can't tell you enough that Praise will make Misery succumb to Praise. Think about it, if your already MISERY EMPLOYED you have nothing to loose by praising. For your already loosing in MISERY anyhow. Real talk.... (SLH).
