TODAY IS LUST OR LOVE FRIDAY

     This question is asking one to make an absolute choice (one or the other).  In a nut shell! Lust is nothing more than the flesh (evil) of your mind that enjoys the pleasures of this world.  You know that part of you that pleads with you to cave into all the hungers of what you see, hear, feel, touch, and smell.  “Here is what people belong to this world do. They try to satisfy what their sinful eyes look at. They brag about what they have and what they do. All of this comes from the world. It doesn’t come from the Father.” (1 John 2:16). Now LOVE on the other hand is the total opposite. You know that part of you that pleads for you to reject all the flesh (evil) of your mind, and take inventory of what you see, hear, feel, touch, and smell. “LOVE is the purpose of my command. Love comes from a pure heart. It comes from a good sense of what is right and wrong. It comes from faith that is honest and true.” (1 Timothy 1:5).

     My friends, it appears that LOVE is the way to go. However many will not yield to LOVE they’ll continue to allow LUST to be their God. Please allow me to share with you my own life experiences with LUST and LOVE.  "LUST has taken me places that LOVE would never go. LUST has caused me to do things that LOVE would never do. LUST has overwhelmed me with pity, whilst LOVE has reached in to bring me peace. LUST has worked fervently to try and destroy me, whilst LOVE has pleaded to restore me." I pray and hope that you now have a simple understanding of why I chose LOVE. So my question to you is "What have you chosen?"
