TODAY IS IT’S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU
As we watched the debate last night my granddaughter was writing down the questions she would ask afterward. As soon as Mitt said “We all have the same God” My granddaughter said “Susie I thought you said he doesn’t believe in our God.” I said "anyone who denies the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) have no alliance to our God." I then reiterated several times in the terminology in which she would understand. “Even though Mitt lies about many things, he is correct on this one thing "God is the creator of all."However that doesn’t mean that everyone acknowledge God as being so. In order to acknowledge Him as being the creator of all, we must first acknowledge that Jesus Christ is his only begotten Son."
Despite the fact that the truth was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER, she still needed me to validate the truth with more truth. She looked at me, and tried to debate her case while intermingling words that I stated from the last debate “Mitt was a believer of God.” I then decided that she was still feeling a bit perplexed from the last debate, and I needed to bring about clarity. I gave her a few biblical answers to her questions, then I asked her to write down the most important questions, and afterwards I would try my best to answer them. I had no idea she would have (11) eleven questions. Funnily one of her questions was “Mitt why do you keep talking about oil is that the only thing you can do for America?” Please get this, all was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER, however she only heard snippets about what Mitt said about oil. We'll definitely be discussing this one in detail tonight.
I can proudly say this was my six-year old grandson first time being active in a debate. He pulled my arm, and said “What does policy mean?” I said "mmmm." Be reminded he's six. I went on to say "It’s like a rule set in place so you’ll do what you’re supposed to do." He looked at me totally confused. I then said “You follow policies all the time” he said “how” "Like the policy of brushing your teeth at home, and my house.” He said “oh, that’s a policy.” I said “for your age, were going to call it our policy for teeth brushing." He looked at me, and said some words about the debate in which I’m forbidden to write, however they were pure, and transcending to us all.
I thank God, for allowing me to partake of these wonderful young scholars, I have always tried to broaden my children horizons with many things, such as religion, culture, politics, science, etc. It’s just simply joyful for me to set among the loins of my children’s flesh, and behold the greatness that’s RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. All whilst enlightening them, as they interestedly inquire to me about politics. Amazedly as they asked perplexing questions I taken pleasure into speaking greatness into their lives. I said things such as, "One of you will be the President one day, one of you will be in Congress, one of you will be a Senator, one of you will be a Legislator, etc. I emphasis repeatedly how it wasn't about them, it was all about the people that needed them.” As the debate ended I looked at those beutiful people and said “more than anything God needs your help him keep hope alive in his people."
