TODAY IS HUNDRED PERCENT MONDAY.

     Surely this expression can mean many things, however I'll be applying it to living our life a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT in the greatest of times, as well as the worse of times. Surprisingly as always this blog came about as I was chit-chatting with one of my sisters. Allow me to briefly describe her character which is HUNDRED PERCENT in all that she does. My sister is in retail, and has been for a very long time. She revamps stores that are declining in productivity, as well as sales. Sometimes she is met with much adversity  (lies, betrayal, confrontation) still, yet she gives HUNDRED PERCENT to all.    

     For the last several years, we've been encouraging her to step out of her box, and start her own company. All in all for the last (20) twenty years she has talked of owning her own company in hopes of leaving a an inheritance for her children. Well as you may know talking to atmosphere will always produce something for someone else rather that be good or evil. Listen this woman has what it takes to own a fortunate five hundred company. Some may ask like what? She has God on her side, tangible resources, the  pursuit of ownership, and the tenacity to obtain. Really, what else does one need? My question for those of you who have the HUNDRED PERCENT of ownership on your side is. Why not employ yourself for the betterment of employing those that aren't employed? I'm sure fear has alot to do with it, be advised "all fear is false evidence appearing to be real."

     I'm sure many of us have heard, or experienced something life changing that has made us question our HUNDRED PERCENT. This is exactly what happened to my sister several months ago when she experienced a frightful surgery "her words." She was like never before questioning her HUNDRED PERCENT  as she was about to go under the knife "Did I really give a HUNDRED PERCENT? And God if I didn't give me one more chance, and I will." I'm sure this has been the prayer of many that have returned from surgery, as well as those that haven't. Sometimes when we experience that which frightens us were brought to the realization that our very life has been " living to accomplish everything for everyone else, but never accomplishing anything for those that have nothing else." (SLH).

     My sister is a good example, she revamps stores for corporations to increase sales, and productivity.  The question to ask here is why not literally revamp the unemployed life through owning her own company? It's like she's giving her HUNDRED PERCENT to enhance the lives of corporations, while many of these corporations disenfranchise those that enhance there very lives. Stay with me, I'm going somewhere here. My sister very hands could just as well be the hands that someone else need to help them enhance their HUNDRED PERCENT in order to assist those that aren't even aware of their HUNDRED PERCENT. I'm just saying.

     Point in case,  for the last several months someone had been asking my sister to partnership with them in new flourishing company, however due to much dedication to her employee she denied them access to her expertise. Well in a last ditch effort this person asked her to be the CEO of the company. My friends, she wasn't enticed by the title, nor did she decline the offer as she had done many other times. Strangely "mmmm" she couldn't stop thinking about what she'd spoken (20) twenty years ago "leaving an inheritance for her children." As fear tried to oppose her from going fourth with the "what if this that, or the other happens" we encouraged her even the more to go in the door. Listen when the door opens at least go in. Maybe you want stay in, however at least you went in. Well she decided to join the company (part-time).

     Another question to ask "How was she going to give this company a HUNDRED PERCENT, as well as the other COMPANY a HUNDRED PERCENT? I knew in depth of me this would be conflicting for all, considering her being that HUNDRED PERCENT person. All I could do was pray that she wouldn't stand in the middle of the door to later be asked to leave out the same way she'd came in.

    Unfortunately her first day in the office as "CEO" was very challenging, and a bit overwhelming, she quickly became discouraged "our God always supplies a ram in the bush per-say." Thank you Jesus! Someone was there to assist her in the financial operations of the company. Still, yet she was indecisive about the company, so she continued on full time with the other company, all in all she'd given her HUNDRED PERCENT word that she would revamp the store by the deadline, and expectantly she done what she said she would do.

     Last night she was on my mind, and I called her. She inquired my whereabouts, because she'd been trying to reach me to share the good news.  I became excited for her to share,  I had no idea what she was about to say, so I attentively listened.  "I was so sad this weekend, sad to a point that I had tears in my eyes, and I almost fallen apart in front of my colleagues." I was sadden to hear that she was so sad. As she shared the converstaion I was taken by surprise, considering this woman knows how to maintain herself professionally, and will always arise to the occasion to respect her colleagues. She went on to say that her colleague had betrayed her as well as lied to her. Long story short, she was given a deadline to revamp a store, and expectantly as always she'd risen to the occassion. And for the first time ever her colleague refused to honor the agreement of allowing her to go and revamp another store. I said "this is good news, right? She agreeded. I then went on to ask her was this a sign that our God was literally closing that door. I then went on to ask her questions in which I knew the answer. As we were about to end the converstaion I asked her if I could write about this, and as always she obliged. Then I said "You have always given your employer a HUNDRED PERCENT, and they don't have to acknowledge you've given that HUNDRED PERCENT, whereas  you set the tone on rather they respect your HUNDRED PERCENT." I had to make sure she heard what I said, so I asked her to repeat it, and verbatim she did. I then went on to reinforce to her what she said (20) twenty years ago about owning her own company.

     Please get this, when you have given your HUNDRED PERCENT there is no condemnation, regrets, pity, limbo, etc. Because a  HUNDRED PERCENT has no room to accommodate anything other than a HUNDRED PERCENT "per-say'" This HUNDRED PERCENT can very well apply to many area of ones life, rather that be family, friends, employment, etc. I'm to a point in my life, that if I can't give a HUNDRED PERCENT of what I'm capable of giving than surely nothing else will do, for I have no room for condemnation, regrets, pity, or limbo. Our God gives us a HUNDRED PERCENT of his Holy Ghost leaving no room for anything other than that! Allow me to reiterate, folk don't have to acknowledge your HUNDRED PERCENT, whereas you set the tone on rather they'll respect your HUNDRED PERCENT. So I ask you"are you living, and giving that HUNDRED PERCENT? (SLH).
