Today is (COME OUT THURSDAY.)

I'm sure when most people hear this expression they automatically associate it with an external movement. However I'll be applying it to an external movement. The Lord says, “Get away from unbelievers. Separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with anything unclean. Then I will welcome you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17). Paul is clearly saying COME OUT from those who reject your God, and oppose your belief system.

Please understand Paul isn't requesting that we go and hide in a box, that would be totally against what Jesus said. “He said to them, “God into the world. Preach the good news to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who does not believe will be punished.” (Mark 1615-16). See how it would be impossible to avoid the world, we are to witness to them, but be separated from them. We are to share with them the gospel, but not be overtaken in the evils that are entangled with the world. Lets be real once you get entangled with the world again, it becomes worse than ever before. I can testify to it.

Not so long ago, I experienced this very expression. I was talking with someone who I really don't talk with much. As we were talking, I explained to them how God had shown me how hurt this certain person was, and why the enemy (Satan) employs them to to cause much havoc on folk “hurting folk, hurt folk.” I had to COME OUT, and tell them how I no longer felt the way I had in the past. I felt sorry that Satan was employing them to spread evil. This person went on the offensive. I told them in so many words how they should examine their heart. They started defending their feelings, and subtly tried to scrutinize me of once feeling the same way. Which was true in a sense, my previous behavior was wrong, but it didn't take away the love my God has for me in spite of what I had done.   I could see Satan hands all over the wall persay.

I went on to tell them how I'd prayed, and repented, and apologize to the person for my behavior. I went on to explain how the person was a lost soul, and how hurt they were, and more than anything I desire for their soul to call out Jesus save me. I should have known this wouldn't go well with that spirit (Satan), this person was sighing, being sarcastic. Really I didn't care, considering I had to COME OUT, and be separated from foolishness. I went on to tell them I must be transparent in my walk with God. Still yet, this person justified how they felt. I said okay. Because at the point, I knew very well  I was dealing with unforgiving spirit that wasn't I about to allow the spirit of God to hierarchy over their ego (flesh) with love.   I redirected the conversation, and they let me go. Instantly God said to me “I told you to COME OUT from among all foolishness, you will have nothing to do with such.” I agreed with God. I told God to prepare for the next time I entertain this person.

Listen my friends you must be aggressive with evil, but harmless.  Paul is saying “COME OUT from among the evil that opposes your God.” Paul is clearly stating there is something wrong if we stay among that which is evil. Also that we are not to be associated with the evils that the world is involved in. Plan and simple we are a peculiar people. “But God chose you to be his people. You are royal priests. You are a holy nation. You are a people who belong to God. All of this is so that you can sing his praises. He brought you out of darkness in his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9). I love this scripture. It is personalized just for Gods children. We are different! We are a holy people, that belong to a Holy God! Some of us should do a affirmation right now. COME OUT and say I AM ROYALITY, say as many times as needed. Your are royalty! Your not of this broken down, poor, sorrowful, wicked world. You were CALLED OUT from this world. You are royalty! Stop down playing your inheritance by not COMING OUT. Even the royalty of this world knows how not to bring embarrassment upon their world kingdom. Lets digest! Lets read this again. I just had to pray, and ask God to forgive for the times I brought embarrassment to his kingdom.

Please remember just because God CALLED YOU OUT, doesn't mean the world want be calling you back in. See how I almost got CALLED back in, I had to aggressively take a stand. Think about it for a moment, wasn't I doing as Paul instructed “to be separated.” Take today and stop listening to the world define your COMING OUT. Just because you don't feel it or see it doesn't mean you haven't CAME OUT. As Joyce Meyer said “God knew what he was getting when he told you to COME OUT, we are no surprise to him.” By far COMING OUT isn't easy, one has to deny its own flesh (ego) which is in opposition to God. Even though COMING OUT is an individual choice, its a choice that effects everyone around you. And guess what you'll be COMING OUT of something till the day you COME OUT of this world “physically.” (SLH).
