Susan Shumake's Biography

Susan Vaughan Shumake has been an inspirational writer since she realized her gift of poetry as a young girl. Her life story and her journey of faith has all been expressed through poetic verse or inspirational writings since then, which she has just recently begun to share with the world.

Susan's inspiration for her writing has come from her own personal life experiences and struggles and from her compassion for others. She often writes in order to minister comfort to the hurting. Her love of God and her faith is the foundation of all of her writing and is evident as she shares her intimate stories.

"The Gift of All Time" is the story of the birth of Jesus, the first written with a heavenly perspective. Susan gives the reader glimpses of heaven where we see the heart of God; the reason behind his Gift of All Time. The Christmas story becomes personal as we see God's intimate involvement in every detail as it unfolds on earth.
