Hello, are you still here? Thank you so much for your help last winter when Red Room members voted for my poem "Different Places to Pray" and thanks to members' votes, I won the Times Literary Supplement Award. Amazing.
But how does one know if they are a blogger? I seem to have taken a nine month hiatus from my blog, but now I'm back. I hope you will come back, too. This time I am wondering about how best to bring poetry into the hands of readers. With all of the changes since my last book,

I am wondering what the most creative ways are to get the word out about my book. There are several themes in the book
including a sequence of poems on the Northwest photographer Myra Albert Wiggins. I will try to include a photograph of hers here. I came across a photograph of hers at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle, WA and years later went back there so I could find out more about the photograph and the woman who took it.
