Susan gives an overview of the book:

Ready to Serve, Ready to Save! is a collection of actual missions from around the world, written by the leaders in the search and rescue community.  It conveys the harsh reality of what it is like to be on an actual mission. The book offers the statistics of the mission first, then the outcome. This way the reader can try to solve the mission first and then find out what happened.
