Woh alag thi, bilkul alag! Kabi ek hansi jo dil ko halka kar de,kabi woh mittas jo bahut dher tak sham warne mei sama jaye! kab raat ayi aur ahosh mei muje sula gayi, iska kabar nahi, subah ko jab ankh khuli toh hosh samhalun, raah phir wahi! chori chori usko dekhoon, nazar churaon, ah! barun, nadan dil ko samjaon ko kisi ne kuch dekha tho nahi! Woh ek kwaish...

Love in the air
She came into my room,
Through the window, like a breeze,
Lingering on my curtains....
Brushing my cheeks,
Spreading a fragrance
of wild lily and jasmines....
Lingered a while,
Awakening my numb senses
And left gently; cool summer breeze...
I felt her in the dancing curtains,
The soft rustle of leaves in the garden,
In the swaying of the...

Sometimes words come to the brink and withdraw, other times the feelings emerge and come along with the tides of the ocean, but then like un showering cloud they drift away. The withered flowers await the same cloud again and again.
The feelings lack the skin of words, they scorch and brown and dry, awaiting the sheath of emotions to sooth the peeled skin.
The...

Shall I compare thee, to a husky, seductive voice,
that came to my pillow, in the middle of the night,
whispered sweet nothings; aroused my senses,
played with my hair and kissed my earlobes,
spoke the words that my ears had craved for ages,
carassed, cajoled and merged with the starry night.
Or shall I call thee the love, that came unexpected,
when...

It is Only words
Words are all I have,
to share with you.
They aren't just words,
It's my heart that
I pour out to you.
I say through these words,
That my heart beats for you,
If listened by you.
I sing through these words,
the Joy it can bring,
songs of love for you.
I write through these words,
Much more you can read,
in...

In the warm sunlight of Winter noon, her velvety black wings spangled with mustardyellow, cooled my thirsty eyes. I followed hermissing a step , almost falling, unmindful of the cut on my right toe, it bled,
She fluttered around, resting gently on a redrose, careful of the thorns, the Sun smiled,The green grass bowed,But the gentle breeze took her away. And I...

Thirty years from now, I would still sit on a sofa, In front of a television set sipping a cup of hot coffee musing over the past. Outside the inconsistent rain would pour out its heart bringing in the pain and pleasure of living, to creatures, varied that thrive together and apart.
The doorbell rings its musical jingle, I would wander off to the door to...

Pearls on a string
Shed not those tears that has pricked the eyes,
Brimming to gush out like a river on flood;
lest it drops and dries in the barren desert sand.
Hold it for the one whom you love in seamless time.
Shed it not for vain reasons that binds you in chains,
Shed it for the sapling that stands testimony to your labor in pain.
Let it flow when the...

Blue days
Ah Baby! I am feeling blue,
I just hate gloomy days.
Days that makes me lethargic,
lacking sense or wisdom.
Days I just lie and daydream,
lacking power or purpose.
Days when all my failures queue up
in front of me like a log book.
Days that tell me I am nothing
When compared to others.
Days that say I am neither
wanted nor cared for.
Days that...

My baby………….. When you were born, Ugly and shriveled you looked. my heart did skip a beat, when you looked blue and glued. Greeting you to the world,My ears strained for your cry.the nurse slapped you twice, while my mouth went dry. I would have wrung her neck, But you cried aloud in protest.Meekly you whined, what the heck!I subdued then, all my detest. I...
