Sitting under a tree, facing the Sun,
the embracing hands of warmth,
comforting and then scalding.
The shade then a warm welcome
to suppress a building nausea,
I pick up a little food,
wobbly legs bring me back
to the same tree, under the foliages
of zig zag patterns, leafless tree.
A morsel I eat then two may be,
but soon I keep it aside,
my head spinning, eyes realing,
People around going round and
round, I slowly recline and lay
down on the circled parapit round
the tree. I hear familiar voices,
then sprinkled water
wakes me momentarily,
and then its a complete black out.
White light blinds me, as I travel
faster to a world afar ,
hallucinated , dehydrated, the
mind plays with images of the
conscious. when I returned,
I puked, disgusted at the condition
of the fragile body. Wobbled on
shoulders supported by four strong
arms, 'To the Hospital ' was all
I managed to hear in transit.
