Its a COZY feeling to come back home; especially to ones own room. Almost like returning home after a long voyage. I find my way, groping about the nooks and corners, the scent of the room fills the cavities of nostalgia. I sense then that my room has transformed. I wander about like a kid excited at finding an old favourite doll with a broken leg or an old little tin soap dish that had been in the favourite list. I carefully open a window;( afraid to look out, lest I once again loose touch with my own room) only to find my own world right out side, I see the neem tree and I FACE BOOK. I smile and see my own people and the children in the courtyard, I look around in apprehensive cheerfulness, feel contentment without contemplating on it.
I take a step forward, surprise written all over my face, a smile lingering, coyly; I open the next window. The TWITTER world is right beside my casurina tree; the orchestra fills the room.
Outside, the gentle drizzle drenches the new leaves. I am happy to come back home.. I would soon be paying my visit to my RR friends, neighbours and other connections. But as of now I am content to relax in my chair with my laptop on my table, and convey my Thanks to our friend Hunt, Ivory Jitu, Keiko, Lu, and others..who had never lost touch with me despite my absence... and the rest of RR team.
Thank you RedRoom for a warm and hearty welcome.
