Bizarre one may say, when one looses touch with one's own identity even momentarily. Imagine then how it would be when one is lost in a lost world searching for self. To begin with the beginning of events in the spiritual path would perhaps throw some light on the apprehension that I went through while persuing spiritualism.
What began as my attempt to know a world beyond the mundane existance can be counted as a decisive factor in persuing spiritualism. There is no easy ticket for the same. Thus arises the question, by what means then? It is not simple when I say, simply meditate.
Meditation that I speak of is neither about concentrating on the incoming and out going breath nor about concentrating on a point to reach a thoughtless blank. It is all about reaching out to the cosmos to draw in cosmic energy. The awareness of the ability to draw in cosmic energy makes the difference in spiritualism. Through practice one can reach a meditative state where one can loose negativity and accept harmony within self. It destroys the ego and anger towards self and the world outside. Life becomes easier to live, minus these dangerous negations.
Faith is an easy way to reach out to one's own pure soul. Faith also instils discipline of the mind to sit still and feel the bliss of self company. When one is satisfied with self, one has no room to fill in negative thoughts and thus can enjoy contentment.
The extremity of meditative stage would be when one looses contact with the world around and then begins the inward journey , in search of one's own self. The much feared thoughtless blank is the only way to cleanse the self of all negativity which is the cause of all sorrows. And in this meditative state one can gain powers of self healing.
Self healing is all about healing one's own body with the help of cosmic energy. If the world is wise enough to master this methodology, it would become a healthier place to live in. In order to heal self, one has to draw in cosmic energy in meditative state with every incoming breath and let out the toxins of the body with every out going breath. Pranayam is the best exercise to heal lungs, this process also checks shallow breathing. When the body parts get enough oxygen through pranayam, the inactive cells come back to form and help in the process of healing.
One should not be under the wrong notion that this kind of healing would happen in a short period of time. The more the mind is trained to meditate , the faster the healing. Most of the compulsive obsessive disorders can be cured by exercising pranayam in a meditative state.
Meditation also helps one find answers to the most complicated questions about self and life. Great sages have exercised and controlled the powers of the mind and have used it judiciously to perform wonders what the modern world calls as miracles.
Believe in self and the power of the mind. learn to be the master of your own mind and witness the journey within. Experience a new you , everytime you meditate.
Experiences from meditation vary from person to person depending on the discipline of the mind.Only through practice and patience one can experience a world beyond our visual world. A weak mind may take years of practice but there is no stopping for a determined one.
