Gypsies Beneficial to Ancient Villages

Highly skilled in making horseshoes, the Gypsies were often welcomed into villages. They would come into a village, stay awhile making shoes for horses and iron cookware, and then move on to the next village. Their traveling caravans even made their way into Ireland where they shared one of their other "gifts", that of fortune-telling.
